The SMARTBOX is wired directly onto the heating device by a qualified electrician, the SMARTCUBE sits wherever suits the room (surface-mounted, flush-mounted or free-standing on its stand), and from then on you have complete control over your heating via the free ETHERMA SMART app - whether you are at home or out and about.
