Warranty & Product Liability Overview

Manufacturer Product Warranty 

All heating products supplied by ARC Thermal are covered by the relevant manufacturer’s warranty. 

Warranty periods vary depending on product type and manufacturer specification. 

Manufacturer warranties typically cover: 

Manufacturing defects
Component failure under normal operating conditions
Faults arising from material defects

Manufacturer warranties do not typically cover: 

Damage caused by incorrect installation
Electrical supply faults
Misuse or neglect
Accidental damage
Unauthorised modification

Where a product fault is suspected, the unit may require inspection and testing to confirm eligibility under warranty. 

Workmanship Warranty 

Where systems are installed by an ARC Installer Partner, a workmanship warranty applies for the period agreed at point of installation. 

This covers: 

Installation-related defects
Incorrect commissioning
Workmanship errors

If an installation issue arises within the workmanship warranty period, corrective action will be arranged without additional call-out charge. 

Installation carried out by non-ARC electrical contractors is not covered by ARC workmanship warranty. 

General Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not extend to: 


Pre-existing site conditions

Electrical infrastructure issues

Damage caused by third parties

System alterations made without consultation

Normal wear and tear

Each claim is assessed based on the circumstances and supporting evidence. 

How to Make a Warranty Claim 

If you believe a product may be faulty: 


Review the Heating System Troubleshooting Guide

Confirm electrical supply and controls are functioning

Contact ARC Thermal with:

✓ Installation date ✓ Product details ✓ Description of fault ✓ Supporting photographs

We aim to respond to all warranty enquiries within 2 working days.

Where appropriate, the product may need to be returned for inspection. 

If confirmed faulty and within warranty, a replacement will be issued in line with manufacturer terms. 

Long-Term System Performance 

Infrared heating systems are low-maintenance and designed for extended operational life when installed and operated correctly. 

Following proper installation, commissioning and routine checks significantly reduces the likelihood of issues arising during the warranty period.

Returns and replacement processes are also subject to our Returns Policy and Terms & Conditions.  

Liability 

ARC Thermal Solutions undertakes to use reasonable skill and care in supplying products and carrying out installation or repair work. 

Liability for defective work or materials notified in writing within 12 months of completion is limited to the invoice value of that work. 

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or business interruption, except as required by law. 

Nothing within this policy limits statutory rights.
